Hello, I'm Philip.

I'm a designer.

Hello, I'm Philip.

I'm a designer.

Hello, I'm Philip.

I'm a designer.

More specifically, a UX & Product Designer who believes the best experiences feel effortless, and knows how much work that takes. I've co-founded an AI startup, shipped across real estate and screenwriting, and mentored the next wave of UX designers.

About Me

Builder by Trade

At Aivy, I designed and built a full AI screenwriting product end-to-end, from a dynamic genre-tailored questionnaire through to a freemium funnel and subscription tiers.

At Ditto, I led UX from research through to launch, shaping the product and contributing to a $10M valuation.

At Proxima HQ, I tackled complex real estate UX problems across web, mobile, and large screens.

Through all of it, my focus stays the same: understanding people well enough to get out of their way.

Designer at Heart

I care about the details others deprioritise — the micro-interaction that builds trust, the error state that doesn't make users feel stupid, the onboarding flow that doesn't need a tutorial. Small things that add up to a product people actually want to use.

Shaped by more than Design

I came to UX by way of film direction and law — which means I've spent a long time thinking about structure, narrative, and how people make decisions.

That background informs how I approach design problems: with curiosity, a bias toward context, and a habit of asking why before asking how.
